Money

Just as I was leaving, mom expressed concern about not having enough clothing.  I told her that we would go shopping on the weekend.  This is a recurring theme.  Once we get to the mall, she insists she doesn't need anything.
I was almost at the bus stop when I heard my mom.  She came chasing after me and told me that she had no money.  I told her I would give her some on Friday.  She wasn't pleased.  I told her that she could ask my brother tomorrow.  I made the mistake of telling her that she didn't need any money.  Anyways I gave her $20, but she complained it was not enough.
I hope she's not planning to go shopping again tomorrow when her visitor is supposed to come.  I think she may have done this last week.

Found mom's stash of $20 bills.  At least I know she hasn't lost her money.

Mom was worried about her money today.  I told her that she had money and not to worry.  I told her I would take her shopping.

Mom said she had no money.  She had her small black handbag on the couch.  I undid the zipper and showed her that she had paper money and change.  Then, I showed her where she kept her stash.  She was fine.
