fish tank

Had dinner with the girls.  Jackie wasn't there.
Mom ate all her meat balls, most of her egg noodles and very little of her peas.  She ate most of her cheese cake with blueberry sauce.
While we were waiting for Donna in the bathroom we looked at mom's reader.  She can read it and it makes her happy to be able to do that.  We also look at her photobook.
After dinner we went to the dog park.  There were only two dogs there, but we met a couple of ladies walking their dogs.  One lady was very friendly.  She said her dog was a rescue dog.  It was found with fur so matted it had  bald patches and had to be shaved.  It was such a cute dog and quite mellow for having been through such a traumatic experience.
We looked at the sky, the dogs and ate a few cherries.
Mom only ate two cherries.
Then, she said she was cold so we walked back.
Donna really appreciates that I take them to the dog park.
The gate is still not locking properly.

The girls wanted to walk more so we walked around the other part of the facility and then settled in the room with the fish tank.  Mom was more engaged than usual.  She was very interested in the fish tank and pointed at the decorations in the fish tank.
Donna kept asking me what day it was.  I think she is a little hard of hearing too.  Mom repeated "saturday" for Donna.  It was funny.
Donna remembers mom's name, but mom doesn't know Donna's name.
I explained to the two of them that I would be gone at music camp for a week.
They both wished me a happy holiday.  They both looked quite content.  It gives me peace of mind.

Mom isn't producing much laundry.  I wonder if the staff are washing her clothes or if her dirty clothes are being put back in her drawers.  I took her pajamas to be washed.

On the way out I saw Jackie.  It looks like she was coming back from a day of shopping.
