Everybody except mom was eating dinner when I arrived. Jacquie tried to communicate with mom. Mom tried to respond to her, but I think she was just confused.
I tried to get mom to eat, but each time she refused. Eventually, I was able to feed her all her carrots and vanilla pudding. And all her beverages including her medication.
I was going to take her to her room and toilet her, but Donna was being toileted. I took mom to the lobby in her wheelchair and we looked at her photo book. Mom was mostly engaged. Sometimes she said she didn't know who the people in the photos were.
I took her back to the room. I combed her hair. Her pink comb is missing and has been replaced with a nicer black comb. I gave her some water to drink. I squirted some strawberry flavouring into her cup and she seemed to like that.
I tried to get her out of the wheelchair. She did make several attempts, but she said her knees hurt.
I wasn't successful in getting her to stand up and go to the toilet.
She was kind of drowsy too. At one point she said that she wanted to die. Yikes!
There was no one in the fish tank room so I left her at the nurses' station beside a Chinese man.
