I arrived at 5:00. Mom had already consumed her milk and apple juice. She was happy to see me. She moved her chair over so I could pull up beside her. She already had her bib on. We got served early so we finished dinner by 5:30. We had macaroni and hamburger casserole and broccoli. I think this is my least favourite dish. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was too much. I only ate half. Mom ate half of her meal. She did good. She was going to eat her dessert before she was halfway through her meal, but Ailene stopped her. I had to smile. Ailene also asked our preference for tea or coffee. I said tea and she made a note of that. She has a better memory than I do.
After dinner we went back to the room. I found a lot of clothes in the hamper and also in the bag in the closet. I guess it depends on who the attendant is for the week. Some put all the clothes in the communal laundry and others actually read the sign that says "family will do laundry."
I also found a cracker wrapper and some crumbs. I told mom not to put garbage in the hamper, but I don't think she cares.
We played card bingo, but we didn't win.
After bingo, I took the girls to the park. There were a few dogs to keep them entertained. Today there was a standard poodle. We admired the blue sky decorated with wispy clouds. We only stayed for about 5 minutes.
I gave mom and Donna oranges for later. We went to join Shanta in the fish tank room for hot cocoa and cookies.
