Mom and Donna were lying down in their beds when we arrived.  Mom's eyes opened right away and she sat up when Joanne and I started talking. 
Joanne was surprised about how inviting the nursing home was.
We took Mom and Donna to the dog park and then we came back at 2:30 for coffee and a cookie.
Joanne said she didn't like dogs and I was surprised to hear that.
We had a nice chat together.  Mom was quiet, but she was engaged.
Nothing in mom's laundry basket.
