Mom didn't eat much

Mom was sitting with Donna and Edward had just arrived.  I smelt mom's underpants and I could smell poop.  I took her to her room for toileting.  She had poop in her diaper and she did poop in the toilet too.  I cleaned her up and brought her back to the dinner table.
She was not interested in her food.  She had a few bites.  She drank all her beverages.  She had a couple of bites of banana.  I was hoping that she would eat more because she had just had a good poop, but nope. 
After dinner, I took Donna to sit at the nurses' station.  I took mom back to the room for another diaper change.  She had a skid mark in her diaper.  Once I got her on the toilet, she peed and then she pooped a little.  She insisted she was finished so I cleaned her up.  I washed her hands and cleaned under her nails.  I wish they wouldn't let her nails get so long and paint them.
She was quite stiff today.  She had trouble getting up.  She said that her right hip hurt.  I should check next time.  Also, her lip was bleeding.  We went through her photo book.
I walked mom out to the lobby and back, but she seemed to have difficulty getting up from the chair.
She seemed quite lucid today.  She tried to explain that she wasn't well.
When we got back to the room, Donna was still there.  Donna wanted to sit with mom at the nurses' station so I wrapped a blanket around her legs and took her.  An aide came to collect Donna.  Donna had been sitting by her bed for at least half an hour with bare legs.  The aide said that she was on a break.  I left mom with Barbara and Lorne.  Mom looked sad.
