Mom was sitting at the dinner table with the whole gang. I asked for dinner last minute and was rewarded with two cabbage rolls. I ate them all. Mom was not eating anything. She did take her meds when the nurse came. Jacquie said that mom must be hungry because she didn't have any lunch either.
Eventually, mom let me feed her. She drank all her beverages, most of my milk and all of my apple juice. I peeled an apple for her, but she would have none of it. I ate it. I felt so full. She ate about a third of her dinner (pureed peas, mashed potatoes, and pureed beef).
After dinner, I toileted her. I massaged her legs while she was in the wheelchair. I got her stand and walked her to the toilet. She was actually quite cooperative today. She didn't pee or poop, but I had seen some poop in the toilet earlier so I think she pooped already. However, it wasn't reported. I changed mom's diaper because she had peed. I trimmed mom's bangs and washed her face while I was waiting for her to produce something on the toilet, but nothing happened. I changed her pants because I wanted to put her in the sweat pants I got her. I put her in the blue ones because her gray pairs were missing. I wonder if they will come back.
On the way to the lobby, we passed through the fish tank room and I spotted a balloon so we went to get it. Mom and I passed the balloon between us in the lobby. We looked at the photo book and then we played with the balloon again. We walked back to her room and I put her in the wheelchair again, gave her some bubble wrap and then sat her with Donna and Barbara by the nurses' station. Mom waved good-bye to me. She was in a good mood.
