Mom was sitting in a chair. One of the residents, a man in a wheelchair, told me that the right brake had fallen off the chair and that the facilities person would repair it the next day.
I gave mom some bubble wrap to play while she waited for dinner.
We had butter chicken. Yum!
Donna was more interested in her dessert: lemon tart. But we, Jacquie and I, told her that she should eat more of her dinner first. Donna was listing to one side as usual.
I massaged mom's legs and she really liked it. She thanked me.
She ate a bit. She drank all her beverages. She ate all her dessert. I was delicious. I think it was lemon and egg whites and lots of sugar.
I toileted mom. She had a small poop stuck in her bum. I combed her hair. Washed her face with a towel. Brushed her teeth. Cleaned under her fingernails. Massaged her calves. I did all this while she was sitting on the toilet. Her diaper was clean. Larry had told me that.
I took mom for a walk to the lobby and we looked at her photo book. I propped mom's legs on a chair and massaged them. She was very happy.
Donna was still sitting in the fish tank room when we arrived. I got a chair and put mom beside Donna. I tried to feed her some banana, but she only ate a small piece.
I asked the nurse how much mom weighed.
43.4 kg on Jan. 9, 2019
95.7 lbs.
