There was a concert going on when I arrived. Mom and Donna were there. I went to mom's room, watered the plants, checked the laundry, checked her toothbrush and toothpaste, wiped the toilet seat, etc. Barbara was sitting all by her lonesome so I asked her if she wanted to come and see the singer. She didn't seem too enthused. She said that she had just heard that her oldest grandchild was getting married. She said she wasn't going to be involved. I took her out to the dining room to see the singer. She enjoyed the concert and seemed happy to be there.
The singer was singing "Let's do the twist" and one of the care aides was dancing so I danced too. I grabbed onto mom's hands to dance, but she started giggling and wouldn't get up to dance.
After the concert, I told the gang we would play cards after coffee. I gathered them all up. I took mom to the washroom. She did a little poop.
I checked in on Anna. She said she would come to play cards, but not coffee.
Anna spilled her coffee as she was making her way to our table to play cards. By the time I came back with paper towels, she was already wiping it up with a bib. Luckily she didn't spill on Michael. It was a close call.
We had a good time.
