New toothbrush and label

Everyone was already seated for dinner when I arrived.  Mom wanted to go to the toilet so I took her.  I wiped down the toilet and thought she could use the toilet on her own. I usually put the cloth in the waste paper basket, but I put it in the toilet.  Mom wanted me to flush the toilet.  She doesn't like to see anything in the toilet.  I was having a hot flash so I just wanted to remove my coat, scarf, etc. and put my bags in the closet.  When I got back to mom, she was sitting on the toilet.  I went to get the cleaning cloths, but there weren't any.  Meanwhile, mom had already pulled up her pants.
I had her pull her pants down so I could check her diaper.  It looked clean, but she said it was wet so I went to get a fresh diaper.  Turned out she probably hadn't pulled her pants down properly or sat on the toilet properly so that pee came down the front of the toilet and she peed a bit on her diaper.  I changed her diaper, her trousers and wiped up the toilet seat.
Then we went back to dinner.  Jacquie had already finished and went to talk to Joe.  Judy already knew that Chemsemble wasn't coming.  She knew about the mix-up and said that she had pulled for us.  Mom finished everything on her plate.  We had meatloaf, broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy.  She didn't eat the dessert which was a custard.
Chris didn't come today because he was sick.
Donna went back to the room on her own because mom and I were still eating.
We caught up with her in the fish tank room because she said she was chatting with someone and got distracted.  We pushed Donna back to the room.
I combed mom's hair, brushed her teeth, wiped her face with a face cloth, watered her plant, etc.  I went to the nurses' station to borrow a marker to write mom's name on her new tooth brush.  This aide gave me a label.  Who knew?  I'll have to remember to bring more toothbrushes.
I took mom and Donna to the dining room to play cards with Michael and Shanta.  We have fun.  Mom keeps saying " I don't know what to do" or "I'm not good at this."  I hope I am not giving her too much stress.  I keep reassuring her saying " I will help you."  She's happy when she wins.
