My bus at Edmond's didn't show up.
Got to St. Michael's late.
Mom had drunk all her drinks.
She didn't each much.
She was mad because I was sitting in Jackie's spot, but she wasn't there.
I ate really fast because there wasn't much time.
Beef stroganoff, broccoli and mango pudding.
It was good.
I found a pair of soiled underpants in mom's drawer. Nothing in her laundry hamper.
I trimmed mom's bangs a bit.
We went to play card bingo.
After the volunteer arrived I went to visit Uncle Tom.
Colleen and Derek were there. Uncle Tom seemed better than the last time when he was restless.
He seemed more calm. I think he was listening to the voices around him.
The gate was working again.
Took mom and Donna to the dog park after card bingo. It looked like she had won a game. It was a crisp, cool evening. There won't be many more evenings like this soon. It will get dark too soon.
I found some cheese and crackers on mom's dresser. Mom said that they were from earlier in the day. I hope so.

I arrived just before mom had finished dinner. I gave her some Japanese pickles I made and I left a piece of pumpkin on her plate. I went to do some chores. I wanted to get some clothing labeled, get mom's clean clothes into the closet, water her plant, etc. I hope mom ate the pumpkin. I didn't see her. Donna had packed up the container for the pumpkin and pickled cucumber and radish.
I wanted to take the girls to the dog park, but the gate wouldn't open. I talked to a staff member, but she gave me a combo that didn't work. A visitor talked to another member of staff and was also given a bogus combo. So we couldn't go to the park.
I got mom to do some fast walking in the entrance hallway. She enjoyed walking fast up and down the hallway. I got Donna to call out "on your mark, get set, go." But Donna got tired of doing that.
I was going to get the girls to play cards, but Donna said she would go and watch television. I think she doesn't have very good hand dexterity because of her arthritis.
Mom and I played a type of solitaire. I cut the deck in half and gave her half the cards. I started to lay my cards out according to suite and number. Mom put her cards out too. She had trouble with clubs and spades and diamonds and hearts. But in general, she was able to put her cards in the correct spaces. She enjoyed it. We played several games. Donna came to join us before they went for cocoa.
